“Ji Qian, I didn’t do any bad thing, so why is my Bazi so bad?”

“You didn’t do any bad deed so you may not count as a bad person. But I look at your Bazi and do not see that you do any good deed in your day-to-day life. So how will you qualify to be a good man?

You have been living too selfishly all your life, a characteristic of yours from your past lifetimes. Such habitual characteristics incur karma, but you insist stubbornly that it is right and refuse to change your ways. This is a non-virtuous thought.

One non-virtuous thought makes one misdeed. One misdeed incurs one count of bad karma. All these accumulated negative karma will be imprinted into your Bazi and manifest as your bad luck, people who make life difficult for you, your karmic creditors, your failures in life, your obstacles, your inadequacies, your disabilities and the ugliness in your appearance.

We originate from a higher realm. It was karmic misdeeds that cause us to fall into this mortal realm. You need to cultivate virtues and merits to return to your place of origin.

I have been learning the Dharma and doing Buddhist cultivation for over a decade, yet I do not dare to proclaim that I am a virtuous and good person. In fact, the more I know about my karmic mis-patterns, the more repentance practices and virtuous acts I do.

The Bible says that we are all sinners. Lord Buddha says we are born humans to repay our karmic debts. You need to delve deeper into Buddhism, then you will not speak so carelessly and make such an unsubstantiated claim that you are a good person.

Also, even if you have done many good acts, that does not mean you are a virtuous person.

Hence, it is right that you do not deserve a Destiny of huge fortune. Everything plays out according to the Law of Karma. Nobody gets a good Bazi for no reason and no one gets a bad Bazi for an undeserving reason.

Unless you are willing to change now, your Destiny will only continue to worsen.”
