My work trip to Taipei has been successfully completed! 🎉

Thank you for the pineapple cakes!

When the client handed me the pineapple cakes, I recognized this as an omen of a fruitful trip!

Five years ago, a client from Taiwan paid for my round-trip ticket, and I spent the entire day at Taoyuan Airport reading Bazi charts, flying back to Singapore that very night. I am truly, truly happy to return to Taiwan after five years to serve you all once again.

My husband asked me why, after seeing clients in Taipei for two days, everyone – regardless of age or gender — seemed to have tears in their eyes after consulting me.

I looked at his “meaningful” expression and protested, “I didn’t scold anyone! I just spoke the truth! Those weren’t tears from being scolded; they were tears of relief and hope for the future, after finding guidance!”

I still remember that day when I was reading the chart for a lady and said, “Starting from this age, you need to be careful for the next five years as you may develop stones…”

Before I could finish, she interrupted.
“Do you mean tumours?”
“Yes.”

I was about to continue when she said, “I already have. Stage two.”

I looked up at her.
“Such an important matter, why didn’t you mention it in your registration form?”

The client stammered, unable to give a clear reason, only saying that she had already had surgery and was undergoing chemotherapy.

Earlier, when I asked her what she wanted in life, she could not give a concrete answer for the entire 35 minutes. My neck grew so long that I was about to morph into a giraffe!

She timidly admitted that she did not dare to want anything.

I firmly told her, “Your illness can be cured this year, the Year of the Dragon. It must be cured! If it drags on until next year, it’ll be troublesome.”

I taught her many, many methods.

Last year, I was entrusted by a daughter to read the chart and audit the Feng Shui for her 80+-year-old mother. Her mother’s liver cancer had returned, and the daughter was extremely distraught. At that time, I honestly told the daughter that I was not optimistic about her mother’s condition. Qingming would be a critical time, and even if she got through Qingming, I doubt she would make it through the Year of the Dragon. The only thing I could do was alleviate some of her mother’s pain, allowing her to spend her remaining time a bit more happily.

I also reminded the daughter to buy the rebirth blanket, nectar pills, and the Seven Treasures Lotus Pond Sand in advance. The daughter was somewhat in denial and asked if she really needed to buy them. “Yes! Buy them quickly!” I urged.

When I read her mother’s chart, I respected the wishes of the children and did not tell the elderly lady that her illness was incurable. Instead, I spoke a lot about the Pure Land. Interestingly, the daughter was hesitant to mention it, claiming her mother was more inclined towards Taoism. Yet, the elderly lady was already familiar with the Western Pure Land, as a friend had told her about it!

It really shows how misplaced filial piety is ignorance at its worst — you did not even realized that your mother knows ahead of you.

This year, the eldest daughter came to me for a Bazi consultation. She said her mother had passed away in June. She sought me out because her youngest sister mentioned that, despite my stern demeanor, I had been very patient with their mother and even thanked me.

I asked anxiously, “Did you cover your mother with the rebirth blanket? Did your sister buy it?”

Hearing a positive answer, I let out a small sigh of relief.

Although I received praise from the sisters, I still felt sad upon hearing that the elderly lady, whom I had met only once, had passed away. Even in her final moments, she was still concerned about taking care of her children. Her children are already grown adults and mostly had their own families…

When will people realize that everything in this world is an illusion?

What else should I do to bring this point across?

You know, my social media analytics show that half of my audience is over the age 40, and more than 80% watch my videos on their phones. So, starting last year, I asked my video editor to enlarge the subtitles and change them to a more readable font. When I record, I speak loudly like a trumpet, and in post-production, I also increase the volume.

This way, even if you have presbyopia or deteriorating vision and hearing, you will not have much trouble watching horizontal videos on a vertical screen.

All sentient beings are afflicted, which is why we exist in this Samsara world. Earth is a vast prison. If you cannot see reality clearly, you’ll remain trapped here, endlessly cycling through birth and death. Those who find a good doctor and receive the right medicine will have a chance to heal their minds and seek liberation.

The mind is the root of all karma. Heal the mind, and your karma naturally disappears.

Without karma, you do not belong here. So why endure the sufferings of birth, aging, illness, and death, the sorrow of losing loved ones, and the helplessness of unfulfilled material desires?
