Setting Lives Free

At the very basic level, any action that removes the suffering of others and gives happiness in return is a good deed.

In this lifetime, if you can manage your marriage well, and be faithful to your spouse till your death, I would think that is a virtuous deed too.

Because you diligently kept to your marriage vows. You did not go back on your word. You did not lie.

No matter what Life throws at you, you still gave happiness to your spouse. You demonstrated perseverance.

You do not blindly give in to your spouse’s whims and fancy. You would point out to your spouse the rights and wrongs according to the Law of Karma. Because you want your spouse to have a better Destiny.

Your actions of foresight create a marriage that not only fulfil the mortal desires of yours and your spouse, but also grows both your mental states of mind. A relationship that warms the heart and deepens the wisdom is such a rare love affinity.

However, some marriages are mistakes right from the start. It is a karmic debt to repay when both Bazi are mismatched for a life investment like marriage.

At this time, letting go is also a good deed.

Allow your spouse to pursue the happiness he/she covets, even if it means you are not in the equation.

Forgive your spouse so that you can give yourself another chance at Life.

Because to entangle each other further can only mean sealing off the rest of your lives.

It always take two hands to clap. Who dare say they are the perfect spouse in a marriage?

I am not encouraging divorce here. However, I have yet to seen a suffering parent who is able to raise happy children. Blocking future happiness from your life can’t be a filial act either.

Heaven will always leave a door open, so don’t you go shutting all the doors.
