I have taken refuge in my Root Guru, His Holiness Living Buddha Lian-Sheng, for 18 and a half years and have dreamt of him three times.

The first time was in 2022, during my accumulation of 200 sessions of the “Immediate Wealth Practice.”

At dawn, Grandmaster appeared in my dream. The setting was the main shrine hall of the Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple in Seattle.

Guru took a coconut filled with coconut water, blessed it, and handed it to me as I knelt before him. He said, “I bless your door number to be the winning number!”

In 2023, for the first time, I won the top prize in Singapore’s 4D.

The second dream happened in early 2024, after my pilgrimage to Seattle and return to Singapore for Chinese New Year.

This time, the setting shifted to the Rainbow Temple. I wore a bright red sweater and a vibrant, fluffy, rainbow-coloured scarf around my neck.

As I stepped through Rainbow Temple’s entrance, Grandmaster stood nearby, radiating kindness.

He looked at me and said, “Give me your phone number.”

I was stunned, and just as I began to say, “+65…” I woke up. The time? Dawn again.

That weekend, the winning lottery number turned out to match my phone number.

The third dream was in June 2024, shortly before Guru’s 80th birthday.

This dream was brief. Guru held a box of the Great Perfection towels and said, “You promote these towels!”

I quickly nodded and responded, “I will, Grandmaster!”

Upon waking at dawn, I wondered why Grandmaster would appear in my dream to entrust me with this task when I was already planning to introduce it to my audience.

On that day, a viewer left a comment saying she had dreamt of Grandmaster blessing her on her head. She asked me if this meant she had achieved resonance with Grandmaster.

I replied, “That is Grandmaster giving you a sign of blessing. You may have prayed for Grandmaster’s assistance, and He appeared in your dream to clear your obstacles and strengthen your faith.”

Dreams represent response, but resonance lies in practice.

A practitioner who resonates with their Root Guru connects to the “Wi-Fi” of Padmakumara.

Their thoughts, actions, and aspirations naturally align with Grandmaster’s.

They will always step forward to fulfill their vows to benefit sentient beings, no matter the form, and will not become entangled in trivial worldly concerns like secular love and the pursuit of money and fame, or obstruct others’ spiritual paths.

A truly resonant disciple possesses an unshakable Vajra heart. Nothing can deter them from the path to Bodhicitta. Even if physically restrained, their heart remains boundless, filled with the desire to alleviate the suffering of other beings.

Such practitioners see the vastness of the sea of suffering and are aware that only the Dharma offers liberation. Thus, their compassion and love for sentient beings that arise from this observation surpass all their personal attachments.

Some Buddhist disciples feel they must dream of their Guru or deities to build faith. They see such dreams as spiritual “miracles” and falter without them, shifting their devotion elsewhere.

When I first took refuge, all I sought was a path to liberation from birth and death. I vowed to dedicate my life to my Root Guru if He could teach me such a method.

Early in my refuge, I discovered that whenever I focused my mind and visualized Grandmaster atop my crown, my body would tremble slightly.

It was clear— Grandmaster was already present, always present. The same goes for my Root Deity and Root Protector. This phenomenon persists to this day, even after 18 years.

Whenever faced with doubts, maintaining this visualization often brings me the answers I need.

I believe this is because I have read over 100 of Grandmaster’s books and deeply understand His teachings.

Grandmaster’s wisdom, compassion, and guidance are firmly planted in my heart, always leading and inspiring me.

As children, we ask ourselves whether we have do our best in being filial and fulfilled our duty to honour our parents, rather than endlessly demanding from them.

Similarly, as disciples of the Vajrayana, we should reflect on whether we have faithfully practiced, upheld our vows, and applied Grandmaster’s teachings in our daily lives to benefit others.

We should not depend excessively on dreams or chase external “miracles,” which risks falling into delusion created by Mara and losing the essence of spiritual practice.

The light in dreams is from the Guru’s blessing.

We must cultivate our own inner radiance to achieve true resonance.

One day, I asked my Shifu, Master Dai Hu, “What do you think you are remarkable for?”

I expected a grand answer, given his eloquence. Instead, Shifu replied:

“I’m remarkable because I’m very devoted.”

Huh?

“I am devoted to my Root Guru. I am devoted to the True Buddha Tantric Dharma. I am devoted to liberating sentient beings. For thirty years, this has never changed.”

His answer was calm, but I was taken aback.

What a truly untainted answer!

Only a disciple in complete resonance with their Root Guru could give such a clear and firm response.

When one’s body, speech, and mind align with your Root Guru, Guru is present in every thought and every act of proper Dharma.

Today, the blessings from my dream of Grandmaster have made the towels and blankets I promote frequently sell out in Singapore.

I am merely a medium, using my videos to reach those in need, offering them convenient methods to resolve karmic binds and increase blessings.

I revere Grandmaster’s extraordinary power, which gives me lion-like courage to face all challenges and plant seeds of liberation for countless beings.

On the Vajrayana path, practitioners need not cling to external signs of perception.

Whether they arise or not, it is all the same.

Focus single-mindedly on the Root Guru, follow the sequential path with diligence, and gradually transcend the cycles of samsara to attain the ultimate radiant light.

May every practitioner achieve the essence of the ཧཱུྂ syllable, manifesting inner light and perfecting your wisdom and compassion.
