Impregnable By Worldly Afflictions

As I stepped into the True Buddha Boyeh’s Wish-Fulfilling Book & Art Gallery located at Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple, a wave of powerful yet refreshing energy that was out of this world swept me off my feet.

At that moment, the bitter coldness outside deserted me, and I felt like I have just hopped into the warm cradle of blooming Spring.

Grandmaster Lu’s paintings were on display in this gallery.

He was a soldier in His younger days, and the regimental discipline instilled remained till today.

An essay every morning.
A canvas of painting everyday.
A spiritual practice ritual everyday.
A Bardo Deliverance of a Thousand Vessels every night.

These paintings in the gallery were not the original work. As soon as Grandmaster completed each masterpiece in the USA, it would be bought by a fellow Dharma brother with the quickest feet!

But these replicas did not fall short at all in terms of spiritual auras.

As a weekly routine every Saturday before the Puja ceremony, Grandmaster would be signing autographs of His books in this gallery, blessing all the items present.

It was love at first sight when I saw this lotus-theme blanket. His writings on it, “Impregable by Worldly Afflictions” made it a MUST BUY for me. It was such a snap decision with no hesitation that I couldn’t even remember the price of it if you were to ask me now.

Our life is like a play. We are just spectators as the show unfolds.

No matter the plot, we should not lose our bearings, and be led by the highs and lows of the show. We must remain in absolute stillness at all times, our heart untainted.

Only in this way will we have a chance to be reborn into the Western Paradise of Pure Bliss!
