His Demonic Heart

Some viewers are really helpful. Seeing how I handled 300-400 emails in the days after registration opening, they recommended all kinds of automation systems for my clients to self-select their preferred dates.

I am thankful for such suggestions, but no, I wish to review the etiquette of the applicants personally.

There are different dimensions to reading one’s destiny.

In my early days of learning Metaphysics from a Hong Kong master, I also picked up I-Ching divination.

During the learning period, I gradually memorized King Wen’s sixty-four hexagrams. I carried copper coins with me. I did divination when I travelled abroad, and I also did divination at home. Delusional thoughts began to arise… the feeling of being able to know everything under the sun is so enjoyable! I would become a very powerful person in the future! Ha! Ha! Ha! (Laughing loudly like the villain in a TV series~)

I was having so much fun and one day, it started to feel meaningless.

What power is there? If it is going to happen anyway, who can stop it?

Then what is the use of knowing good and bad fortune?

The more divinations I did, the more I felt the insignificance of humans.

Like what my Root Guru, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng wrote:
棋盤為地子為天，
人按陰陽造化全；
行運玄微通變處，
原來背後有神仙。

The invisible forces control mankind. And man gets controlled because his heart is blind. To break free from these restraining forces, he has to first cure his heart.
When the destiny is not good enough, there must be a problem with the holder of the destiny. When he is problematic, it must be a problem with his heart.
After all, good and bad luck are created from the heart.

My job is to find out what illnesses of the heart he/she has, before I can dispense heart medication.

One common heart illness modern people suffer from is arrogance.

This arrogance naturally extends into rudeness in behaviour and speech.

Among those who seek my services, many have conflicted minds. On one hand, they are aware of their inadequacies, thus they seek professional help. On the other hand, they think they are not as bad as others, so it is not that serious.

This is a battle between the Mara nature and the Buddha nature.

In other words, it is your demonic heart at play.

The Mara is arrogant, so why would he think he is at fault? It’s everyone else’s fault! I am always the best! Someone is trying to hurt me! They misunderstood me! I am the poor thing here! How can fate be so unfair? !

He does not know or care how he mistreated all these people in his previous lives…

One of the methods to subdue inner demons has been recorded in the 4th lesson of “Four Lessons of Liao Fan” – The Benefit of the Virtue of Humility, as early as the Ming Dynasty.

You got to reflect on your actions everyday. What wrong did you do today?

Being willing to say a sincere sorry and not thinking too highly of yourself is the first step in subduing your inner demons.

Sounds easy, right? But many of my clients are unable to do it.

When Man gets contaminated by the society, losing his original kindness, that is when he morphed into Mara.

Can you list down the occasions when we should apologize?

Let me state 3 straight forward scenarios:
• You make a mistake and hurt someone
• Your behaviour was impolite
• Your mistake/negligence causes trouble for another person

In my emails, I will correct impolite clients and clients who furnish wrong information. There will be 3 kinds of reactions.

The humble and receptive ones will apologize with no hesitation.

Those who feel an apology is beneath them will say:
“Okay, I know.”
“Thank you for telling me.”
“I acknowledge your points.”
“Noted on your email.”
“Will do.”
“Appreciate this.”

The third type of customer is the Evanesco kind – no reply at all, and then pop up to register in the next season as if nothing happened. I do not reply to such applications. I think being so realistic is unkind.

Let’s change to a scenario that is easier to understand. The wife discovers her husband is having a mistress and confronts him, but her husband says,
“Okay, I know.”
“Thank you for telling me.”
“I acknowledge your points.”
“Noted on your email.”
“Will do.”
“Appreciate this.”

How hilarious that will be! 😂

Remember this, thank you and sorry are not of the same meaning.

We are born as humans and we live among many other humans. Together, we act out story after story, and we call it Life. If your heart is raging with demons, you will not be successful in this human world, for you will form many debts of enmities without knowing it.

Dear chess of destiny! If a simple and sincere word can repair your relationships with others, pulling your hearts closer, why are you still obsessed with that worthless ego?
