At Grandmaster’s book sharing session, held in Lei Tsang Temple Singapore, a mother told me her daughter is my fan, often watching my videos together with her. This seems to be my first time having a primary school fan 😍 Wow! Luckily, my videos only teach good, not evil.

Seeing many mothers bringing their children to Lei Tsang Temple to listen to Grandmaster’s book sharing session or attend other activities, it is a very heartwarming scene, as it is a very rare affinity that one can have a family member as a Buddhist companion. This reminds me of my days as a teacher, using all kinds of skillful means, determined to teach the children until they learn, with that burning passion.

When reading Bazi and auditing Feng Shui, many parents often say they do not really know how to teach their children Buddhism.

I smile and say: “Of course! You yourself are only half-baked, how can you teach?”

“But Master, I’ve noticed that children who learn Buddhism are really more well-behaved! Can you recommend Buddhism classes suitable for children?”

Every time I hear this question, I feel a bit pained inside. Not that other places are not good, but True Buddha Dharma is truly wonderful. Unfortunately, in our local chapters, there is not yet a children’s True Buddha Dharma class. I see that there are quite a few in Malaysia.

Children do not just behave better. Learning Buddhism from a young age means they are accumulating blessings and virtue since young, and more importantly, fulfilling filial piety. Because they use the life and body their parents gave them to learn and cultivate.

Each class they attend is a step on the path to their own spiritual accomplishment, and also a repayment and gratitude to their parents.

The child’s temperament will gradually soften, karmic obstacles will retreat, and blessings will increase. Their minds will become sharper, their ears and eyes clearer.

From small love to great love, from self to selflessness.

In a world full of temptations, with good teachers nurturing these Buddhist seedlings, children will stand strong like bamboo, navigating smoothly and creating good karma with everyone they meet. Why worry that your children would not have good fortune in the future?

Some people tell me that Singapore is small and has little population. There will not be children learning Buddhism, for how could they understand?

I respond,
Yes, Singapore is so small, but still there is a Lee Ji Qian and Master Dai Hu, and many other talented Dharma propagators. Do not underestimate our own people and overestimate others.

The vow power of our Root Guru is not limited by the size of the place, or even by time and form. He does not abandon any sentient being, including children. When the conditions are ripe, people of insight will surely step forward to take on this responsibility!

In little Singapore, dig and dig and dig, plant seeds of hope and bloom the flowers of True Buddha!
In the warm classroom, practice and practice and practice, cultivate compassionate thoughts and bloom the flowers of wisdom!
On the path to enlightenment, walk and walk and walk, practice the vows of Bodhisattvas and bloom the flowers of great liberation!
