All the bottlenecks and obstacles we faced in Life are the cumulative result of our bad habits and shortcomings.

If we do not wish for such a destiny, we need to face our weaknesses squarely in the eye.

Do not push away the constructive criticisms of others anxiously. We should be grateful that there are people who can see our blind spots.

Do not think everyone around us are all critiquing us. Because even a good-hearted person needs courage to tell us what we need to improve. There isn’t any person that does not wish to be liked by others.

Do not feel hurt here or discomfort there, just because someone say something unpleasing about you. You are too old to feel like that forever. If your ego feels pricked, take it as acupuncture therapy. Prick a few more times, and there will be no more jams in your brain, and you get to develop a more open heart.

Sometimes, it takes a whole lifetime of waiting, before we get to meet one virtuous teacher who is willing to pull us up from the deep trenches.

When you release a sky lantern, wishing for an abundance of good fortune, aren’t you praying to the Heaven for a celestial army of soldiers to help you along?

Now that the Benefactor with the Heavenly Decree is here, why are you avoiding to meet him/her?

Or have you chosen to remain obstinate about your “perfect destiny”?

A Ms Low, who wished to repay my great kindness, was once asked about her insights after reading my FB article. She did not mention anything else, except exclaiming thrice, “Very long! Very long! Very long!” She seemed to have a hard time reading it.

She was right, and her comment probably counted as repaying me. This is one reason why I had taken to writing shorter posts recently. I wish to do my part to take care of readers of different preferences.

A Mr David PM me a few days ago, telling me his story. Before I was able to reply, he messaged, “I don’t think you can help me.”

In my FB page 謙預 Qianyu.sg, he left a comment under my 1st March video, “Don’t know what you are talking about.”

Thank you for telling me. Please give me some time. I will definitely work harder and harder, to unleash my greatest potential and help more people in need.
