I should go into semi-retreat soon.

There is no television in my home. There is also no sofa. I like my house to have more space but it is definitely full of strong vibrations, because my home altar is consecrated by Grandmaster Lu, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng.

After last Saturday’s FB live on that paranormal thing that happened to me, my UK client emailed me a photo of she and I. More specifically, a photo of me on her TV, taken with her right hand. What a heartwarming scene. It was our first photo together. 🥳

When I graduated from uni, I took jobs that had appearances on the big screen, being a TV extra and commercial model. But this is the first time I appeared as the female lead on TV. Thank Buddha I tidied my eyebrows beforehand. 😁

As I held up Grandmaster Lu’s books during my live, the client said there happened to be one lying beside her. So she quickly took it up and snapped a shot of us. She said she was very happy to see me in my Live.

It takes effort for someone living in UK to buy Buddhist books and get them flown to her. What deep Buddhist affinity she must have!

You would probably realised by now, that I have upping the frequency of my FB Lives. Because I had been overworked with the usual video production. I often worked till dawn because of them. If I continued this errant way, my health is bound to crash sooner or later. Most likely, sooner.

I wish to focus more time on my spiritual cultivation. There are many homework that I want to complete.

I do not have a particularly long lifespan and neither do I wish to prolong it. It makes a lot of sense to delve deeper in my Dharma studies and cultivation when I am in a good form.

The preciousness of Dharma is actualized only when you practiced it, and not merely hearing it.

Grandmaster Lu had expounded, since we know that there is nothing to be gained in secular life, we should place our heart instead in the Dharma.

Thus…perhaps…in 2022, I may only see clients who have bought Grandmaster Lu’s books. I can only serve so many clients but the demand for my services is more than what I can handle alone. Those who bought Grandmaster Lu’s books probably share a closer affinity with me. And since you buy the the books upon my recommendation, I have the responsibility to answer any questions you may have about Buddhism after reading the books.

The good thing about video production is having English and Chinese subtitles, and effects like hilarious gifs and other post-production effects. I know my audience enjoy them, especially YouTube viewers. I have a very responsible video editor but the creative work behind piecing a video together comes solely from me.

My time and effort are limited. But don’t worry, I am not disappearing. I still love meeting you guys.

As and when I have something to say, I would do a live. I am considering getting another mobile phone, so that I can do live videos on YouTube and Facebook at the same time.

I am usually more laid back in real-life, so I usually don’t have a script prepared beforehand. You can see that my live videos are, hence, more unstructured but more casual. I speak whatever that comes to my mind and just chat.

Hopefully, for those of you who are more used to my more exquisite video productions previously can accept my new video format. ❤️

And if you are feeling bored, take a look at how raw I used to look on the big screen:
